Fr. Elliott's and Deacon Minicky's
Latest Homily:

50% Congregation Allowed
In Church At One Time

Due to corona virus restrictions, we can only have 50 percent of the normal amount of people in our church at one time.  That number allows only about 150 people in our building for each Mass.

Please note that attendance is first come- first allowed in, therefore come to Mass early if you want to guarantee a seat for that Mass in the church.  People who show up after the first 150 people are inside will be directed to the Parish Hall for seating until that area is full.  We ask for your understanding and cooperation in this situation.

Parishioner Guidelines for Observing Social Distancing for the
Celebration of Mass

The normal Mass schedule is in place:
-5 pm Vigil Mass on Saturday
-8:00 am & 11 am Sunday Mass
-Daily Mass will be held at 8 am

Sunday Mass at 8 am will continue to be recorded for playback at any time thereafter.  See THE LINK BELOW to view the recorded Mass.

All Catholics will continue to have dispensation from their obligation to attend Mass until further notice.

If you are symptomatic or have been exposed to another with the virus within two weeks, please remain home and watch live streamed Mass.

Please check your temperature before coming to Mass.

If you are at risk because of an underlying health condition or advanced age, you are strongly encouraged to continue to stay home and take advantage of our live stream or a televised Mass:
KPLR channel 11 at 8:30 am,
Cathedral Basilica Sunday Mass on TV.

Children under two should not wear masks per CDC guidelines.

Please do not touch any doors when entering or leaving church.
Hand sanitizer will be available at entrances.

Family units, liturgical ministers, and clergy should always maintain social distancing*.

Pews will be marked.

Masks may be removed when you are seated in the pew.

Stationary basket for offertory will be available on a table in the middle aisle. Online or mail-in giving is encouraged

Communion lines should be single file, and one way.  Ushers will help to direct this.

No other receptions or social gatherings are to resume until further notice.

All liturgical ministers will receive more specific instructions in a separate communication.

*Social Distancing means, to the extent possible:
-maintaining at least six-foot distancing from other individuals outside of your family unit

-washing hands with soap and water for at least twenty seconds as frequently as possible or using hand sanitizer with at least 60% ethanol or 70% isopropyl alcohol

-covering coughs and sneezes with something other than hands, keep mask on as possible

- no handshakes, elbows touched or physical contact. (air-hugs will do nicely!)

Prevent and Protect STL

The Archdiocese of St. Louis has developed a new system for safe environment compliance called Prevent and Protect STL.  Everyone ministering to minors or vulnerable adults or making home visits for SVDP (clergy, employees and volunteers) in the Archdiocese are required and asked to register in the new system before December 31, 2020.  This includes those new to service and those who are currently in service.  For those who have already attended a Protecting God's Children workshop, your previous training date will transfer to this system.  Those new to the service must attend a live Protecting God's Children workshop.  Everyone, new to service or currently in service will register for an updated background screening, view two new online training modules on abuse reporting and the Code of Ethical Conduct, and agree to the updated Code of Ethical Conduct.
