Mission Statement

The mission of the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion is to serve God and our St. Gianna Catholic Community through assistance in the distribution of the Most Holy Eucharist to God’s people, with reverence and respect, in demeanor, attire and the manner in which we handle the consecrated bread and wine. In answering the Lord Jesus’ call to serve, we celebrate our relationship with God within community while developing an ever deepening spiritual commitment in liturgical worship.
