Who We Are

As Catholics of St. Gianna Parish, in communion with our Archbishop, and our Holy Father, the Bishop of Rome, we are called by Jesus Christ to be His body, the Church, in our local community and to fully live the Gospel.

With faith, hope and charity, we strive to live our discipleship by fervent prayer, inspired worship, sound teaching, and sharing our faith with those in physical and spiritual need.

Last chance to buy Raffle Tickets
This weekend, September 20th and 21st, will be the last time before the Fellowship Picnic (Sunday, 9.21 after 11:00 a.m. Mass) that you will have to buy raffle tickets for our campaign to purchase a new organ.
Lots of baskets have only a few tickets purchased for them so your chances of winning may be very good for some baskets!
Did you know that you can purchase cash & carry in the parish office. Check with Rita for availability of cards.


Immediately following 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, September 21, in the Church Commons, we are having our Annual Parish Fellowship Picnic, a fun afternoon of food and fellowship!! In addition, providing the weather cooperates, we will also be outside for games and other activities.

There will be crafts and face painting for the children and games for all to enjoy. This year along with the vollyball game there will be an OBSTACLE COURSE to test your flexibility and stamina!! We will also have the bean bag toss and bowling for the little ones.

The Social Committee is providing Hamburgers, Hotdogs and Drinks (lemonade, ice tea and water) for part of the food for the occasion.

We are asking parishioners with the last names starting with the letters A-M to provide DESSERTS.

Parishioners with the last names starting with the letters N-Z to provide the SIDE DISHES.

This will be a time to just sit back and relax and get to know one another a little better. The Social Committee is doing the grilling and hosting the event with the hope that YOU will be THERE to provide great conversation and friendship!!
Meet Me At The Movies Trivia Night

The St. Gianna Catholic Book Club has chosen "The Quest for the Creed" by Dwight Longenecker for book discussion. This is a continuing discussion of chapters 11-20.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, October 7, at 7:00 p.m., in the office area of the church. Fr. Elliott is always a part of our group. Hope you can join us.

Today's Liturgy
